From There to Here:

First, thanks be to God for the many blessings He has showered upon the Marian Committee! In the last two years we’ve grown from six members to twenty-three members! The 72nd Annual Living Rosary was up close to forty percent by almost any metric over the previous year. Archbishop Fabre has been Celebrant for that event for the last two years and has signed on already for next year! The Archdiocesan First Saturday Devotion was reinstated on December 7th, 2019 and has continued uninterrupted for these four years even through the covid pandemic. Archbishop Shelton in 2023 gave us a most wonderful Chaplain, Very Rev. Fr. Martin A. Linebach, KHS.

Going Forward

We have no interest in playing defense. It’s ‘all systems go!’ toward increasing devotion to our beloved Lady, the Mother of God, the Blessed Virgin Mary whose blood coursed through our Savior’s own Most Sacred Heart. We have the same purpose as the Church, which is ‘the salvation of souls’.

Our plan is to put ever-increasing energy into The Living Rosary and The First Saturday Devotion, but also, to initiate new events and Marian prayer opportunities. To do that we need your support: in prayers, and time, and resources as you have them. We’d like to improve in our technical capabilities in social media, promotion, photography and videography. We’d like to better reach out to all the various ethnic and racial groups across the Archdiocese. We’d like to help make sure that all young Catholics know and love Our Lady and her Holy Rosary. Please let me know if you can help in any of these ways or would just like to generally volunteer as needed.
